Sweet Ideas for a Fabulous Spring Wedding

Spring weddings are fabulous affairs. Think of all the flowers that are in bloom that time of the year and the colors. Not to mention, it’s a great time for an outdoor wedding. The sun is shining, nature is in bloom, temperatures are pleasant and you could wear a long-sleeved lace wedding dress without breaking a sweat.

Trends for 2018 spring weddings

If you don’t know where to start with your spring wedding theme, rest assured each year brings its own fabulous trends. 2018 is likely going to be marked by Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding in May (total spring fabulousness). The ceremony is going to take place at Windsor Castle, just one hour away from London, but the reception is set at St. George’s Hall. Oh and apparently 2,640 members of the British public have been invited to attend the ceremony.

Obviously, the invitations to the royal wedding have already been sent and they are simple and super formal. Here’s the pic released by the Kensington Royal Twitter account.

As for the dress, we still don’t have the details, but we know all about the flowers. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be dancing among white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves and a lot of greenery. Think beech, birch and hornbeam. Plus, the flowers will be donated to charities after the wedding.

Spring wedding themes: blooms everywhere and greenery instead of fabric drapery

From arches, to backdrops, to the tables, chairs and even food, spring is the season to go all out on flowers. Fragrant, exotic, intense or pastel, made out of paper or made out of sugar, blooms will make your spring wedding, look and smell fabulous!

According to wedding planners, 2018 is bringing a fabulous new trend for spring weddings: using greenery to drape tent weddings instead of fabric drapery. We love it and we hope to see more of it in the coming seasons.
